WyndSong was originally formed for the purpose of learning all the music of
our favorite composer, Catherine McMichael. After working dilligently on her
music for over 2 years, we have expanded our repertoire and decided to begin
performing. Among the four of us, we play 13 instruments, allowing us to play a much wider selection of music - including arrangements of classical, folk, and ethnic music to original compositions written specifically for flute quartet - by a diverse collection of composers - from Handel, Mozart, and Nishimura to Howard, Lauf, and Tcherepnin.
